Parents and students come to us to get a full and enriched learning experience with great convenience and flexibility. Here are what you can expect from our services:
First, you can visit our programs page, or discuss with our customer service representatives, to select the programs that can best fit your children's learning needs. From MathJump! Like A Kangaroo Test Prep to AMC 8/10/12 Test Prep, from Chess Mentor to Java For Kids, from Middle School Writing to SSAT, SAT Test Prep, & ACT, we offer a wide variety of programs to cover different academic and extracurricular subjects to help your child improve her/his skills and confidence.
Second, you can visit our enrollment page, or discuss with our customer service representatives directly, to enroll your child into your selected programs. You can enroll your child in any of our learning programs at after-school hours, evening hours, or weekend hours. All sessions are offered through our real-time online classrooms so your child can attend the sessions from the comfort of your home. All you need is a PC, MAC, or tablet, and high-speed Internet access. A web camera is not needed, as communication is audio and screen sharing only. To achieve the best sound quality, we recommend you use a microphone headset for your PC instead of using your PC's built-in mic.
After your enrollment, we will email you a link to login to our WebEx-based, online real time online classroom. At the time of the class session, just login to our WebEx-based, online real time online classroom, and our teacher or tutor will be there teaching the class and interact with your child the same way as in a real classroom. Your child will listen to our teacher, watch her presentation, chat with her, and share screen and documents with her. Due to privacy considerations, video sharing is not enabled. Only audio and screens sharing are allowed.
And learning is not over after class. Teachers will send notice on what was covered in class, how the students performed in class, and assign homework to students. Students can submit their homework using our Class Discussions app. The teacher will grade the students' homework and post their feedback. From the Class Discussions web site, students can also discuss homework- or learning- related issues with the teacher or with peer students. The teacher will also administer online quizes and exams just as in traditional classrooms. At the end of the program, teachers will give students their grades based on their performance.
