GCF and LCM
A common multiple is a number that is a multiple of two or more numbers. For example, common multiples of 2 and 3 are 0, 6, 12, 18, etc.

The least common multiple (LCM) of two numbers is the smallest common multiple excluding zero. For example, the LCM of 2 and 3 in above example is 6.

The greatest common factor (GCF) is the greatest factor common to two or more numbers. For example, the greatest common factor (GCF) of 4 and 6 is 2.

How do you find the greatest common factor (GCF) among integers? And how do you find the lest common multiple (LCM) among integers? Here is a simple way that you can use by following a diagram like below.

In the diagram below, the greatest common factor among (1092, 588, 1596) is 2*2*3*7=84, and the lest common multiple of (1092, 588, 1596) is 2*2*3*7*13*7*19 = 145,236
